Rising Tide Projects was started in 2019 as an artist-run exhibition, workshop, and publishing project with grant support from The Idea Fund. Our first run of programming took place in an empty storefront in downtown Galveston, TX from the summer of 2019 until the pandemic hit.
After a couple years of hibernation Rising Tide Projects is remanifesting in the winter of 2024! The new storefront (right next door to the old one) is half gift shop, half atelier; selling artist-made goods, art supplies and gifts, all while printing our own publications, stationery, and artist editions in house. We’ll be offering a variety of community workshops and events as well, so stay tunded and we hope to see you soon!
